Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager is responsible for developing long term relationships with strategic customers, promoting AkzoNobel's capabilities, and securing specification position on targeted projects. The role requires expertise in securing specification position on targeted projects with key customers & their contract chains, and delivering sole (or preferred) specification position on targeted projects.

Requirements

• 7 years of sales experience preferably in the protective coating and/or Marine coatings.
• Proven track record in key account management preferably with an Infrastructure and Energy background.
• Comprehensive understanding of protective coatings in relation to one of the following sub-segments: Corrosion Resistant Coatings /passive fire protection / insulation / Tank Linings / Concrete Repair / High Temperature Coatings.
• Positive, good communication and technical presentation skills.
• Commercial and Technical background is a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and regional languages.
• Proficiency with standard MS Office and CRM programs.
