Al Jomaih Energy & Water is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to oversee and ensure the quality of construction and engineering projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining quality control processes, conducting inspections, and collaborating with project teams to uphold high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE) or Quality Auditor (CQA) through ASQ, and/or certification in ISO 9001 (e.g., Lead Auditor) is highly desirable.
- Additional certifications in NDT methods s required and certifications in welding inspection (e.g., AWS Certified Welding Inspector - CWI) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC mechanical and piping engineering within the Power (CCGT) or EPC projects.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, and experience participating in audits.
- Proficient in industry standards and codes such as ASME, API, ANSI, ASTM, and ISO, with a particular focus on pressure piping, welding, and material specifications.
- Experience with quality management software and tools (e.g., Aconex, Procore, Primavera, or similar QA/QC tracking and documentation platforms) is advantageous.
- Skilled in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques (e.g., radiography, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing) and interpretation of results.
