Learning Pathways Specialist (Contract) – Learning & Organizational Development

Alberta Blue Cross is seeking a Learning Pathways Specialist for a 12-month contract term. The ideal candidate will translate capability requirements into structured learning pathways that enhance employee development and support organizational strategic priorities.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Adult Education, Organizational Development, or Learning & Development.
• 5–7 years of experience in Learning & Development, HR, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and how learning pathways support proficiency development.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze role requirements, proficiency expectations, and capability gaps.
• Excellent facilitation skills, with experience leading workshops, role-mapping sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
