Senior Financial System Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis

Alberta Blue Cross is seeking a Senior Financial System Analyst to join their Financial Planning & Analysis team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a partnership mindset, and experience with financial systems and processes. This role will involve leading the extraction, transformation, and integration of financial and operational data, building and maintaining financial data pipelines, and designing and implementing automation opportunities.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
• Four years of experience working within a finance function in a medium- to large-scale organization
• Strong capability in developing, analyzing, and enhancing financial reports, dashboards, and forecasting models
• Proven ability to support and streamline financial data flows
• Experience designing, improving, and automating reporting processes
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
• Experience with automation and analytics tools such as Alteryx, Power Automate, and Power Apps is an asset
• Experience administering Workday Financials and Workday Adaptive Planning is strongly preferred
