Senior Policy Analyst

The Senior Policy Analyst position plays a leading role in the development of expert advice and recommendations for public policy concerning Alberta's electricity industry. The role is responsible for providing in-depth research and analysis, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and providing project management and coordination for policy development and implementation initiatives.

Requirements

• University degree in a related field (public admin, social sciences, engineering, public policy, environmental science, law or business, or other related field)
• Four years progressively responsible experience in interpreting legislation, regulatory frameworks, and/or policies, and drafting policy briefs, briefings, reports, and/or recommendations for decision-makers
• Experience in data analysis and the development of reports, and working within Energy and/or Electricity sectors, related Agencies, Consumer Groups, or Utilities in increasingly responsible related roles
