Requirements
- Related university degree
- Canadian CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation
- Audit experience in financial statements and performance audits (with Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS))
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft application skills
- Previous audit experience in public accounting
- Performance audit experience
- Government operations experience (municipal, provincial, or federal)
- Familiarity with Canadian Public Sector Accounting Standards, IFRS, and performance audit standards (CSAE 3001)
- Certified Internal Auditor or Information Systems Audit designation
