HVAC Controls Software Engineer

The Controls Software Engineer will develop program and operator interface graphics for building automation systems, review project specifications, and troubleshoot software issues. The role involves working independently or as part of a small team and requires excellent computer skills and strong understanding of MS Office products and BAS components.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science (or 5-7 years of experience in ATC/BAS systems)
• Understanding of mechanical HVAC equipment
• Thorough understanding of electrical and network wiring and the programming of BAS components
• Excellent computer skills and strong understanding of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Access); AutoCAD, Visual Basic, Visio
• Strong understanding of Modbus and BACnet protocols and integration of these technologies into BMS systems
