Software Systems Engineer I- HVAC Controls

The Software Systems Engineer will be responsible for software design, program creation, and implementation of procedures and standards used in the programming of controls projects. The role will involve programming of HVAC and utilities plant sequences using building automation controllers and languages.

Requirements

• Review of project specifications, drawings, and project-specific documents
• Breakdown scope of work into manageable segments and communicate to Project Manager / Engineering Manager for scheduling
• Creation of project programming specific 'Request for Information' (RFI) documentation
• Following sequence of operations as required by project documents and develop engineered sequence of operations and commissioning documents
• Startup and commissioning of large systems
• Software programming of HVAC/utilities sequence of operations, installation, and commissioning
• Ability to travel to and work on construction sites for commissioning/startup
• Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts
