Sr. Software Engineer (Elixir)

AlertMedia is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with full-stack experience and hands-on experience building scalable applications in Elixir & Python. This role is an opportunity to use a wide variety of design and technical web skills to help manage day-to-day requests and leverage experience while gaining new experience from the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred
• 6-8 years of experience building scalable applications with modern frameworks using Elixir, Python, JavaScript, Django, and React
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS or other cloud experience a must)
• Postgres & Redis development experience
• Proficiency leveraging AI tools for product development
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage working on multiple projects in parallel
• The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environment
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to effectively work cross-functionally in a fast-paced challenging environment
• English proficiency (written and oral) is required
