Barn Assistant

The position includes assisting in the daily care of horses, including feeding, turning in and out, maintenance in and around the equestrian facility, and light custodial duties. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with regular and prompt attendance. May require long and irregular hours, sufficient fitness and strength, and ability to handle ill, injured, or unruly horses.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Previous experience caring for horses
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Agility and strength to handle ill, injured, or unruly horses
• Large farm machinery experience (preferred)
