We are seeking qualified Summer Camp Teachers to support the lead and assistant teachers in creating a caring and educational atmosphere for children. The role is a temporary seasonal position with a Monday–Friday schedule, with various shifts available, and offers competitive pay ranging from $16.00 to $22.50 per hour and an industry-leading benefits package.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- An Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is a plus.
- 1 year of child care experience in a licensed ODJFS child care program is a plus.
- Ability to pass a BCI/FBI background check and maintain current physical health standards.
- Comfortable working with children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 12 years.
- Reliable and dependable with strong work habits; expected to be in place and ready for work at scheduled times, with minimal tardiness or absenteeism.
- Reliable and compassionate, capable of fostering a warm, nurturing environment for children and families.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Displays a friendly and positive demeanor, with a creative and energetic approach to work.
- Demonstrated dependability, punctuality, and consistent attendance record.
- Applicants must be 21 years of age and possess current legal authorization to work in the United States.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
