Job Description
Allegion is a company that specializes in security around the doorway and beyond. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide support to their manufacturing operations in Farmington, CT. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical direction, performing design and development of engineering/operations processes, and driving efficiency and quality improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering / Technology or related technical field
- 5+ years’ experience in a related engineering position
- Experience in applying Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools and Lean Sigma Methodology
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and in independent situations
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to read and interpret various documents
