Manufacturing Process Engineer

The Manufacturing Process Engineer role at Allegion involves designing, running, testing, and upgrading production processes. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects, collaborate with teams, and ensure engineering solutions meet safety, cost, time, and quality requirements. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field, and 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Design, run, test, and upgrade existing and new production processes
• Analyze proposed changes for manufacturing impact and feasibility
• Develop and maintain all process documentation
• Act as a project manager on projects
• Confer with vendors to determine specifications of products and arrange equipment
• Partner with all other functional groups to create a successful work environment
• Ensure engineering solutions meet requirements for safety, cost, time, and quality
• Evaluate processes and equipment to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
• Manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Analyze and plan work force utilization, workflow, and design layouts of equipment for maximum efficiency
• Communicate manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes
• Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions
• Use structured problem-solving approaches, Statistical Process Control, Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, and Design of Experiments methods to troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Attend training opportunities deemed necessary by management
