Allegion is seeking an Operations Supervisor for their Indianapolis, IN manufacturing plant to lead a team of approximately 20 to 40 hourly associates and drive improvements within the departments while maintaining records of all pertinent documentation.
Requirements
- 5 – 7 years of supervisory experience of a team of similar size in a manufacturing setting
- Previous experience in fabrication highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, etc.) preferred
- Exposure, knowledge, and implementation of Lean Manufacturing principals highly preferred
- Proven ability to lead and develop people
- Proven ability to drive engagement within a team environment
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, peers, managers, and customers
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Analytical thinking skills and critical thinking mindset
- Detail oriented
