Job Description
Process patient and insurance refunds, review credits, and maintain patient confidentiality. Perform financial reports and prepare refund checks. Maintain detailed knowledge of practice management software and comply with HIPAA and compliance guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One to three years of experience in healthcare billing setting
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Proficient computer skills, including word processing and data entry
- Ability to work independently and stay focused on task
