Diesel Mechanic

Are you an experienced mechanic who enjoys working on a variety of auto and diesel engines? The Ground Service Mechanic is responsible for general troubleshooting and repair work on gas/diesel engines and associated systems.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience with troubleshooting and repair on gas/diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, transmission/rear end, basic chassis/brakes, as well as fabrication skills (MIG and Arc welding/cutting)
• ASE Certification preferred
• High school diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds in confined spaces on a regular basis
• Ability to climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather, around jet and machinery noises
• Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
