Job Description
We are seeking an experienced mechanic who enjoys working on a variety of auto and diesel engines to join our team as a Ground Service Mechanic. As an AGI Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repair work on gas/diesel engines and associated systems, electrical systems, transmissions, gears, brakes, and all other systems associated with airport service equipment.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with troubleshooting and repair on gas/diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, transmission/rear end, basic chassis/brakes, as well as fabrication skills (MIG and Arc welding/cutting)
- ASE Certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds (32 kg) in confined spaces on a regular basis
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather, around jet and machinery noises
