Job Description
The HR Generalist manages human resource functions, including recruitment, new hire processing, benefits enrollment, and worker’s compensation. Acts as the main employee contact for employment-related issues.
Requirements
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions
- Makes hiring decisions for stations
- Creates and maintains a thorough recruiting network
- Plan and conducts new employee orientation
- Keeps records of benefits plans participation and personnel transactions
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
- Develops recruitment strategies
- Makes presentations to potential applicants
- Interviews and selects qualified applicants
- Conducts wage and benefits surveys
- Maintains local personnel files and audits records
- Becomes authorized signatory for AGI and manages badging for new hires
