Patient Access Representative Senior

Allina Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative Senior to assist with Emergency Room, Inpatient and Mother / Baby registration and financial counseling. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting and welcoming patients, collecting demographic and financial data, and verifying eligibility and benefits information. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and 2 to 5 years of revenue cycle or healthcare insurance experience is required.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• 2 to 5 years of revenue cycle or healthcare insurance experience
• 2 to 5 years of customer service experience
• 0 to 2 years of experience using computer including an electronic medical record, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• 0 to 2 years of general office experience
• 0 to 2 years of experience as a Patient Access Representative
