Job Description
We are seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at Allina Health Pulmonary and Sleep Edina. The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive evaluations and treatments of sleep disorders in patients, working under the direction of a physician. This role requires strong knowledge of sleep medicine, critical thinking, and patient education.
Requirements
- Conducts the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders in patients
- Applies electrodes, monitors accordingly, ensures artifact free recordings and documents values for any clinical event during testing
- Scores Polysomnograms, downloads/stores data and generates reports prior to follow up appointment
- Educate patient on sleep disorders, testing procedures and operation of sleep disorder devices
- Verify medical order/protocol, complete all technical paperwork
