Food Service Supervisor

The food service supervisor is an energetic leader who directs the overall management of the restaurant. They are responsible for inventory, orders, financial control systems, and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate must be flexible to work various shifts and be ready to migrate to Canada.

Requirements

• Communicate changes to food preparation formulas, standards, etc. to staff
• Ensure that all local and national health and safety food codes are respected and that the company's safety and security policies are followed
• Support local and national marketing initiatives
• Capable of preparing or assembling the ingredients necessary for standard recipes
• Identify and contact potential customers to promote sales
• Plan special events and promotions
• Organize stock and equipment, order supplies, and supervise maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the office
• Plan and work on budgets, maximize profits, and meet sales targets
• Establish schedules and work procedures
• Recruit new team members, train and improve existing personnel on hygiene and safety procedures
• Maintain a high level of customer service
• Deal with customer complaints and requests
• Implement brand promotion and sales campaigns or design their own promotion campaigns
• Prepare reports and other performance analysis documents
• Participate in activities consistent with the company's social responsibility programs
• Prepare work schedules to meet our labor cost objectives and resolve short-term personnel change problems
