Die Technician

The Die Technician will maintain effective communication with schedulers, press crews, and plant personnel, and be functionally responsible for the maintenance of all extrusion dies to ensure maximum yield and productivity.

Requirements

• Prepare dies according to required press schedules
• Deliver dies to the appropriate presses promptly
• Inspect and polish all dies
• Monitor caustic equipment and track CPI and pump outs
• Maintain a clean work environment in a caustic enclosure
• Comply with all quality-related policies and procedures
