Job Description
This is a full-time position requiring a highly experienced Distribution and Substation Safety Professional in the Denver area. The role involves conducting safety audits, assessing crew adherence to safety standards, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices. Experience with distributions, transmission, and substations, particularly OH and UG equipment, is preferred. The position is either six months long, or could be a month-on-month arrangement.
Requirements
- Conducting safety audits on repair and upgrade of equipment (conductors, wooden poles)
- Assessing crew adherence to OSHA Standards, Best Practice for Electrical Utility Standards, and General OSHA Construction Safety Standards
- Conducting behavior-based safety observations, cultural observations, and understanding culture within a union environment
- Complying with safety standards and ensuring compliance with regulations
