Substation Technician C (Oncor)

The Substation Technician C is a non-exempt position responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of substation equipment and systems. The role requires a 2-4 year working knowledge of substation equipment and a willingness to work in confined spaces and elevated work areas. The position may involve traveling to other states and working long hours during emergency conditions.

Requirements

• Perform construction, maintenance, or repair of substation equipment and systems
• Work safely with energized high voltage systems
• Perform rigorous physical labor and climb to heights up to 125 feet
• Maintain company vehicles, test equipment, and tools
• Work independently or with others and occasionally work long hours during emergency conditions
