Job Description
Alstom is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Train Design Engineering team in Saint-Bruno, Quebec, Canada. The successful candidate will develop technical specifications, create 3D models, and design products considering project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering or 2 years in the railway industry
- Mastery of Catia v5 (at least 3+ years full-time or <5000 hours)
- Knowledge of PDM/PLM (Enovia-DMA, 3DCom)
- Good communicator who likes teamwork
- Ability to write reports
- Sense of urgency/priority
- Structured and organized
- Member of the OIQ
- Proficient in French and English
