Process Engineer

We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our team in Hornell, NY. The successful candidate will have a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and experience in industrial processes, manufacturing engineering, or process optimization. They will design and optimize manufacturing processes, work with teams to co-design products, and support the introduction of new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience or understanding of industrial processes, manufacturing engineering, or process optimization
• Knowledge of process design methodologies, line balancing, and industrial documentation
• Familiarity with special processes (e.g., gluing, welding) as well as continuous improvement tools and practices (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma)
• Familiarity with tools such as Process FMEA, FAR (First Article Review), and FAI (First Article Inspection)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in using industrial design and manufacturing software/tools
