Human Resources Generalist

Human Resources Generalist position at Alta Equipment Group, responsible for various HR-related tasks, including labor relations, employee relations, training, and compliance. Location is Bolingbrook, IL, USA. The ideal candidate is a highly energetic, friendly, and outgoing individual with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Requirements

• Serve as an HR generalist (excluding payroll and benefits)
• Leverage strong relationship building skills to navigate business opportunities/ideas/concerns from team members, management, and senior leadership
• Manage labor relations for 1 Union collective bargaining agreement across 4 Alta locations in Illinois
• Handle all employee relations issues including investigations
• Coordinate and deliver training sessions on various HR-related topics
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Expected to travel 15–20% to regional branches on a quarterly schedule and as operational needs arise
• Perform other duties as assigned
