The Mold Maintenance Technician maintains and rebuilds injection and blow molds to ensure optimal production performance.
Requirements
- Perform mold repair and corrective maintenance.
- Disassemble and reassemble molds.
- Investigate and troubleshoot molding issues.
- Clean mold components.
- Execute preventive maintenance.
- Conduct precision measurements.
- Operate overhead cranes safely.
- Assist with mold changeovers.
- Complete documentation.
- Support safety and continuous improvement.
- Follow all safety requirements.
- Perform standing job for 8 to 12 consecutive hours (depending on shift length).
- Remain stationery for extended periods of time.
- Move around Tool Room floor.
- Move, adjust, and position anywhere from 10 to 45 pounds.
- Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach and grasp for varying periods of time during a consecutive 8- to 12-hour period (depending on shift length).
- Frequent standing and bench work.
- Work in manufacturing environment.
