The Trainer position is responsible for training packers and machine operators on the production floor. This position assists to assign work, implements and enforces policies & procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
Requirements
- Handle and operate any machinery, tools or equipment used safely while performing job duties.
- Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Resolve employee training issues through problem resolution.
- Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
- Work to continuously improve in all areas.
- Under direction of Manage, track training measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to manager.
- Leads by Example
- Trains newly hired associates on the job, to promote maximum growth within the company.
- Provide leadership
- Help manage department priorities.
- Communicate effectively with Plant Manager & Human Resources
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
