Lead Principal Engineer- Robotics & Software job at AM General, responsible for defining electrical architecture, leading integration strategy, and providing technical leadership in supplier selection and design reviews.
Requirements
- Experience in vehicle-wide electrical and electronic architecture
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Software Engineering required- Masters preferred
- Relevant experience range is 5-7+ years with 2-5 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Proficient in power management, energy budgeting, and consumption analysis
- Skilled in electrical design and integration for robotic arm systems
- Strong knowledge of harness design and sensor integration
- Experienced in HMI, remote-control, and vehicle system integration
- Proficient in electrical BOM tracking and part release processes
- Must demonstrate manufacturing- and service-friendly design practices
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety, redundancy, and compliance
