Maintenance Mechanic responsible for performing maintenance tasks on production molding and assembly machinery and auxiliary equipment, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
Requirements
- Installs, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance of operating equipment, other equipment, and support equipment.
- Troubleshoots and repairs electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and or program issues with Molding and AMO machines and all support equipment.
- Develops solutions to improve and resolve issues with machines.
- Performs MIG & TIG welding.
- Uses fabricating skills.
- Reads prints/schematics.
- Understands PLC and RS Logic and knows how to use them to test equipment and/or make adjustments to equipment.
- Performs daily PM's and maintains the proper paperwork.
- Complies with safety regulations and established lean manufacturing principles.
- Works with other mechanics, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure continuous operations within the plant.
- Provides general facilities maintenance.
- Follows applicable Food Safety and cGMP policies.
