The Processing Technician is responsible for working in a professional manner with other processing technicians and maintenance personnel to keep all equipment in top working order. The role involves troubleshooting machine issues, developing corrective actions, and communicating with the manager or supervisor. The Processing Technician will also be responsible for training personnel, monitoring production processes, and responding to machine/mold issues.

- Work in a professional manner with other processing technicians and maintenance personnel as needed to keep all equipment in top working order resulting in only quality product being released to the customer.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues
- Ability to discern molding issues from machinery or process issues
- Record accurate production data necessary for tracking purposes
- Develop corrective actions for machine/molding issues
- Train personnel to improve technical capabilities and experience
- Evaluate the quality of products form newly set-up machines
- Monitor production process
- Respond to reported machine/mold issues
- Start-up and shut-down molding machines as necessary
- Perform material and color changes in a proficient manner
- Communicate all changes and all important information to the Manager or Supervisor
- Ensure all system performances are optimized and running safely.
