Job Description
We're looking for a Platform Engineer to support our IPcenter toolset! The ideal candidate will have experience in Linux/Unix administration, troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Amazon VC2. In this role, you will install and configure Linux hosts, automate common tasks, and diagnose and troubleshoot issues in the platform.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills
- 3+ years of experience working with a NOC environment
- Very strong Linux/Unix administration & troubleshooting skills
- TCP/IP and basic networking
- Configuring Apache and Tomcat servers
- Create and debug MySQL queries
- Understanding of DNS and how to configure/ troubleshoot it
- Good verbal and written communication skills
