Requirements
- Proven experience in an HR Operations, People Operations, or Shared Services environment, with leadership or supervisory responsibility
- Comfortable operating in a dual role, combining team leadership with hands-on delivery of HR casework
- Demonstrated experience working within a Shared Services or case management/queue environment, with the ability to prioritise and manage a high volume of requests
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team
- Able to balance competing priorities, effectively managing both day-to-day operational delivery and project work
- Experience of leading or supporting HR projects, such as system implementations, process improvements, or organisational change initiatives
- Confident handling complex or sensitive employee matters, acting as an escalation point where required
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to allocate work effectively while also contributing directly to delivery
- A collaborative and approachable style, with excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- A continuous improvement mindset, with experience identifying and implementing process efficiencies
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance in HR processes and communications
- Solid understanding of the employee lifecycle and HR best practice
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience is desirable
