Job Description
Ameren Missouri is seeking a Certified Repairman to perform highly skilled electric and gas welding, brazing, and cutting on power plant equipment, including boiler pressure parts, pressure vessels, and piping. The position involves working on a rotating shift schedule, supervising apprentices, and maintaining equipment in accordance with ASME codes and insurance underwriters' inspection requirements.
Requirements
- High school degree
- At least 1 year of experience as a journeyman welder or equivalent
- Must pass prescribed welder qualification tests in accordance with the requirements of Section IX of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code
