Associate HVAC Mechanic

Ameresco, Inc. is a leading energy solutions provider looking for an Associate HVAC Mechanic to join their Operations & Maintenance Team based at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role involves assisting with the operations and maintenance of water source heat pumps, HVAC systems, and other related equipment/systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent is required
• Up to two (2) years of related professional experience
• Formal training from a trade or vocational school is preferred
• Experienced with installation, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, or repair of HVAC components or systems is preferred
• Basic computer skills including e-mail and data entry using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with the ability to transport equipment and tools in excess of 300 lbs
• Strong verbal, written, computer communication and organization skills
• May require travel and flexibility for ‘on call’ support or varied schedule needs
• Type 2 or higher EPA certification is required
• Ability to review confidential US security information
• Valid Drivers' License issued by state of residence and in good standing
