Job Description
We're a manufacturing firm that values quality and customer satisfaction. As a SMT Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating production equipment to achieve high quality and efficiency. This role requires collaboration with the manufacturing engineering department and working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Setup, maintenance, and operation of automated Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly equipment
- Perform setup and changeover duties as required of MyData pick and place machines
- Operate, monitor, and replenish electronic components onto feeders across multiple MyData pick and place machines
- Work collaboratively with the Manufacturing Engineering department to provide real time data to improve processes and determine the root cause of any issues
- Perform in-process visual inspections and initiate first article processes for all electronic assemblies at the SMT
