DevOps Engineer

Amex GBT is seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our Technology team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment processes. You will work collaboratively with development and operations teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure systems that support our business objectives.

Requirements

• Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Manage artifact repositories and dependencies using Nexus
• Administer and optimize containerized environments using OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Ansible
• Write and maintain automation scripts in Groovy, YAML, Shell, and other DevOps-related scripting languages
• Implement AI and automation ideas towards DevOps and platform engineering solutions
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize performance
• Manage version control workflows using GitHub
• Document processes and maintain project tracking in Jira and Confluence
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide technical support as needed
