The Cashier will provide excellent customer service by ensuring guest satisfaction through quick and friendly service. This role involves taking orders, processing payments, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, have good communication skills, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
Requirements
- Extend a warm and friendly greeting to all guests
- Pick up trash on the parking lot as needed
- Take guests’ orders accurately
- Accept payment from guests and make change correctly
- Thank guests for their business
- Present order to guest, properly packaged and with all necessary accompaniments and utensils
- Operate the cash register
- Generate additional sales
- Count the change bank in their register at the beginning and end of the shift
- Stock adequate supplies of paper goods, condiments, beverages, etc.
- Prep food as needed
- Clean all guest areas
- Prep food as needed
- Present to management when any front-of-the-house equipment needs service or inventory is needed
- Remove trash from waste receptacles and place at back of restaurant
- Sweep and mop lobby as needed
- Clean restrooms as needed
- Explain menu and answer product questions
- Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities
