Job Description
Specimen Accessioner supports the overall function of the Accessioning Department and maintains quality customer service. American Health Associates is the premier clinical laboratory in the region, servicing over 3000 long-term care facilities.
Requirements
- Enter patient demographic and test information accurately into the computer system.
- Process and accession laboratory samples for in-house testing and reference lab testing.
- Troubleshoot problems when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Support Laboratory goals, policies, procedures, and philosophy.
- Scan requisitions, run missing requisition report, and follow-up.
