American Iron & Metal is a family-owned company looking for a hands-on Account Manager to build relationships with catalytic converter suppliers, negotiate prices, and drive company growth. The role involves regular in-person visits, inspections, and negotiations, as well as coordinating with operations and logistics teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in account management, business development, or sales, ideally in metal recycling or automotive
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills
- Analytical mindset and ability to interpret market and pricing data
- Proactivity and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and basic data analysis
