This position is responsible for planning, managing, monitoring, and evaluating work flow to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are achieved, and providing leadership in developing the workforce to include recruiting, selecting, and developing hourly employees.
Requirements
- 2 years of manufacturing experience in fast-paced, lean manufacturing environments
- experience managing high volume production processes
- knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and JD Edwards
- demonstrated compliance of OSHA standards in a manufacturing environment
- ability to manage multiple task and provide expected results
- maintaining regular and predictable attendance
- communicating effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
- working cooperatively, courteously, and respectfully with all team members, vendors, and visitors
- following verbal and written instructions
- successfully completing drug and background screenings
