Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Highways Engineer to support our Design and Development team. As a Civil Engineer, you will support the Senior Engineer and lead junior Engineers in the design and delivery of multiple highway projects ranging from junction improvements to new roads and bridges.
Requirements
- Degree/Masters qualification in a relevant discipline
- Relevant experience in highway engineering, particularly local roads and S278 layouts
- Ability to work in a commercial and customer focused way
- Good understanding of Manual for Streets, DMRB, other national standards, best practice guidance, local standards etc.
- Good understanding of the CDM regulations and their relevance to highway design
