Lead Senior Structural Engineer

We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Lead Senior Structural / Bridge Engineer to join our Consulting Structures team in Dublin. The successful candidate will lead a team, produce technically sound engineering solutions, and take ownership of projects and mentoring junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Developed experience and expertise within Structures field
• Comprehensive knowledge of structural design processes and procedures
• Ability to produce or oversee the production of technically sound engineering solutions
• Takes ownership for the preparation and checking of deliverables
• Very good working knowledge of relevant software and similar analytical tools (e.g LUSAS, Autodesk Structural Bridge Design)
• Demonstrates good commercial awareness
• Has a good understanding of Safety, Health & Welfare and risk assessment
• Incorporated or Chartered status with Engineers Ireland, ICE or IStructE. or an equivalent professional licence gained through the professional institution to which the individual is aligned
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an appropriate subject or demonstrable equivalent further learning
