We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Structural / Bridge Engineer to join our Consulting Structures team in Dublin. Our Structural Engineers play an important part within Consulting Structures team. As a Structural Engineer, you will provide effective support and assistance to your Senior Engineer on a variety of Structures public transport schemes.
Requirements
- Developed experience and expertise within Structures field, probably gained in an Assistant Engineer role or equivalent.
- Comprehensive knowledge of structural design processes and procedures.
- An ability to produce or oversee the production of technically sound engineering solutions, complying with all relevant technical standards and Client’s requirements.
- Very good working knowledge of relevant software and similar analytical tools (e.g LUSAS, Autodesk Structural Bridge Design).
- Has a good understanding of Safety, Health & Welfare and risk assessment.
- Substantially experienced in the management and communication of hazards and risks on projects and ensures appropriate risk mitigation and transference has been applied.
- Evidence in working towards Incorporated or Chartered status with Engineers Ireland, ICE or IStructE. or an equivalent professional licence gained through the professional institution to which the individual is aligned is desirable and may be essential on particular contracts.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an appropriate subject or demonstrable equivalent further learning.
