Amey is seeking a Permanent Principal Ecologist to join their Energy Transition & Sustainability (ET&S) team in Scotland. This role involves technical leadership, project management, client and supplier interaction, and potentially managing people. The Ecologist will advise on project outcomes, manage budgets, and contribute to bids.
Requirements
- Full membership of Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management or equivalent
- Chartered Ecologist or Chartered Environmentalist status
- Expertise in protected species surveys
- EPS Mitigation licence application experience
- Experience in Invasive species survey and management
- Comprehensive knowledge of ecological processes
- Bachelors or Masters degree in an appropriate subject or demonstrable equivalent
