Job Description
Amity Foundation is seeking compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to work as Program Counselor, providing rehabilitative programming services to inmates and enhancing their training and experience in the field.
Requirements
- At least 50% of PCs must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in counseling, mentoring, or teaching experience with offenders.
- Other PCs must meet one of the following criteria: a) Certification in AOD, or as a substance use disorder Counselor or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, or b) 1 year of experience conducting professional counseling in a community organization or treatment center, or c) Bachelor's degree in counseling from an accredited college or university.
