Job Description
This general laboratory supervisor role involves planning, managing, and supervising all testing departments within a clinical laboratory. The supervisor will oversee staff, workflow, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. They will also be responsible for monitoring, interpreting, and recording testing results and communicating with clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in one of the natural sciences from an accredited institution.
- 6 years of high complexity testing clinical laboratory experience or Master's degree and 2 years clinical laboratory experience.
- Must have toxicology experience.
- Knowledge of the basic principles and laboratory applications of biology, toxicology and chemistry.
- Extensive knowledge of public health laboratory laws and regulations.
- Ability to communicate professionally with staff and clients.
- Independent work capability in a team environment.
