The Senior Systems Architect is a senior-level technical role responsible for designing, supporting, and optimizing complex infrastructure environments, including servers, virtualization platforms, storage, networking, and telephony systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 5–7 years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 9–11 years of experience in infrastructure administration.
- Strong understanding of data center management, storage platforms (NetApp, Dell PowerFlex), and integration across multiple systems.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for outages and complex infrastructure issues.
- Experience with automation tools (PowerShell, DSC, Ansible) and scripting for infrastructure tasks.
- Familiarity with IT operations platforms such as ServiceNow for incident and change management.
- Proven experience with Operating Systems: Linux (Rocky) and Windows Server, Virtualization: VMware / Docker containers, Server / Storage: Cisco UCS / Netapp, Automation: GitHub, Ansible, and Terraform, Backup Systems: Veeam, Networking: Cisco Nexus / IOS, Firewalls: Palo Alto / Fortinet, Cloud Platforms: Azure, Monitoring Tools: Nagios, New Relic, Proxies: NGINX, Telephony: SIP-based systems
