Analog Devices seeks a highly experienced and strategic EMEA Trade Compliance Director to lead and enhance our regional compliance program across Europe. This role will primarily focus on ensuring compliance with European Union regulations governing military and strategic goods, including oversight of dual-use items, defense-related exports, and strategic trade controls.
Requirements
- Lead the development and execution of a robust European trade compliance strategy aligned with ADI’s global policies and regional regulatory frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with the EU Regulation 2021/821 and national military export control laws, and U.S. re-export controls.
- Oversee licensing processes for military and strategic goods, including EU classification, jurisdiction determination, and export permit applications.
- Serve as the primary liaison with European regulatory bodies, including national export control authorities and customs agencies.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments; implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide strategic guidance on compliance risks related to military technology transfers, deemed exports, and controlled goods programs.
- Collaborate with security and IT teams to enforce technology access controls and data protection aligned with military export restrictions.
- Lead training programs for employees and stakeholders on European military and strategic goods regulations.
- Collaborate with legal counsel on voluntary disclosures, government inquiries, or enforcement actions as needed, and support M&A due diligence and integration.
